Desert Debt: The Tale of Nelly and Luis

In the mirage of a survival card game, only the body can settle the debt...

01Meeting in the Mirage's Storeroom

Deep in the desert, where neither winds nor shadows reached, stood a city woven from sand and delirium. In its stone belly, Nelly always played cards. She sat, legs stretched out, scratching her chest through the thin fabric. Her dress, the color of sunset, barely concealed a body the devil himself would remember.

The wooden shutters clattered, and at noon Luis walked in. He was charming, with a lock of hair tied back with a red ribbon. Luis was a gypsy, but here, in a world where only evil survives, he was light as a feather. "Hello, Nelly, lady of the desert's games," he said, winking. She dealt a card, and he looked at it: twelve years of danger and greed.

"You're late, Luis. The stakes are high," Nelly warned, shuffling the cards. He sat, his fingers gliding along the table's edge. "I'm here to win. You know I'm not afraid of risk." She smirked: "Then play. But remember: the loser pays not with their soul, but with their body."

02A Handshake with Fate

The cards beat Luis, one after another. Nelly watched him with delight, her foot sliding up his thigh under the table. "You'll lose, gypsy, and then you'll be mine," she whispered, her lips barely moving. Luis swallowed, but his eyes burned with defiance. He threw a card on the table: the jack of spades.

"Are you taking the bet, Nelly? Or are you scared?" She bit her lip, her hand touching his wrist. "I'm taking it, Luis. But you won't leave here until you pay up." The card hit the table, and it was her loss. "So, lady of the desert," Luis stood, his voice trembling, "your stake." She smiled, her hand sliding along his neck.

"Yes, your body. But only if you agree. You can still walk away," Nelly offered. Luis looked into her eyes, then slowly nodded. "I agree. But on one condition: you pay too." Nelly raised an eyebrow: "We'll see, gypsy. We'll see."

03Nakedness and Dreams

The room they ended up in was ordinary: a wall, a bed, and light seeping through the cracks in the shutters. Luis stood, his shirt unbuttoned, while Nelly slowly approached him, her fingers reaching for the last button. "You've hidden much from me, Luis," she said, her lips almost touching his neck. "But now I know you're mine."

Her fingers slid down, and the shirt fell to the floor. Luis took her hand and brought it to his chest. "I'm yours, Nelly, but I want to feel you just as much as you feel me." She nodded, and their lips met in a hot, wet kiss. Her hands glided over his back, while his fingers were already freeing her from the dress that had been missing for so long.

They fell onto the bed, bodies entwined in a dance known since ancient times. Nelly took charge, hard and passionate, her teeth sinking into his neck, while his fingers played with her nipples. Luis moaned, his body trembling, but he didn't give in; he gave her pleasures she couldn't even allow herself in her wildest dreams.

04Paying with the Soul

Dawn in the desert was cold and cruel. Luis lay, his body glistening with sweat and satisfaction. Nelly lit a cigarette, her gaze on him tender but already hollow. "You spent the night like a king, gypsy," she said, her voice hoarse. "But now you're free. The debt is paid."

Luis sat up, his hand reaching for her thigh. "This wasn't just payment, Nelly. It was... more than I expected." She smiled, but her eyes stayed cold. "Yes, you're an interesting man, Luis. But you're still a gypsy, and I'm still a hard woman of the desert. Our night is over." He nodded, his hand sliding down.

"I know," he said, his voice trembling. "But I can't forget this night. You've changed me, Nelly." She stood, her body radiating strength and confidence. "And you've changed me, Luis. But what happens, happens. Goodbye, gypsy. May your road be easy." He looked at her, his heart beating faster, but he knew she was right.

05Pattern of the Future

Nelly returned to her mirage's storeroom, her legs tired and her heart heavy. She sat at the table, her fingers gliding over the cards, her thoughts drifting back to Luis. Her lips stretched into a sad smile. "It was fun, gypsy," she whispered, her voice soft. "But this is the end."

Luis walked out into the desert, his body bearing the marks of that night, but his soul remained free. He looked back at the city, vanishing in the hot haze. "Thank you, Nelly," he said to himself. "For everything." His fingers touched the red ribbon, his gaze fixed on the horizon. He knew his road was just beginning.

The desert, the city, the cards, the body—all left behind. Only memory and dreams remained with them. Nelly became again the game and the steel, and Luis the lightness and freedom. But they both knew that night had changed them forever. And as the dawn light reached their hearts, they both knew their paths would never be the same, but always bound by that night in the mirage's storeroom.
