Five steps to your clip
- Open Upload your photo and sign in. On a phone it is an item in the side menu.
- Add a photo: pick a file (JPG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB) or tap "Take a photo" and shoot right in the browser.
- Take a selfie with your camera. It is used only to compare faces and is never stored.
- Choose "Gentle" or "Hot" and describe in a sentence what happens in the clip.
- Press the button. A timer appears: Gentle usually takes about a minute, Hot a few minutes.

What the photo needs
Any photo of you works as long as your face is clearly visible and you are alone in the frame. No studio shot is needed: a portrait from your phone or a waist-up photo is fine. Better light and a sharper face mean a closer likeness. We cover this in detail in how to choose the right photo.
Why a selfie is required
Videos with someone else's face are not allowed, and the service checks it. The software compares the face on your photo with the live selfie from your camera: it must be the same person. It also estimates age, because the feature is only for adults, 21 and over. If the faces do not match, no clip is made and your GEM are returned.
What it costs
